  • ROLE SUMMARY The Vice President, Sales (B2B) is a key member of the Civia Health leadership team, responsible for developing and executing a national growth strategy that connects pharmaceutical sponsors, CROs, and research partners to our network of high-performing clinical trial sites.
  • This role leads the commercialization engine that fuels our mission — translating relationships into partnerships, and opportunities into impact.
  • KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.

Commercial Strategy & Market Growth (Head)

  • Provide constructive and rational input into the annual revenue and sales targets
  • Provide strategic into product / sales development
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to secure partnerships with global and mid-sized biopharma companies, with emphasis on large-scale Phase 2 / 3 trials in obesity, T2DM, cardiometabolic, and related chronic ambulatory conditions.
  • Lead the end-to-end deal process :
  • identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, negotiating master service agreements (MSAs) and statements of work (SOWs), and closing multi-site deals that align with company growth and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Experience, and Finance teams to ensure delivery excellence from proposal to performance.
  • Develop competitive and R&D pipeline intelligence to target large phase 3 chronic ambulatory trials
  • Contribute to corporate strategy, product development, and innovation initiatives to strengthen Civia’s competitive differentiation.
  • Lead the industry conference strategy to build brand recognition and promote the leadership and scientific expertise of the company. 2.
  • Relationship Stewardship (Hands)
  • Build and executive against a comprehensive PHP stakeholder and investment portfolio plan to capitalize on PHPs companies, investments, and significant network
  • Establish executive-level sponsor relationships that extend beyond transactional trial delivery to strategic portfolio partnerships.
  • Represent Civia Health at industry conferences and partnership forums, strengthening brand awareness and credibility.
  • Ensure exceptional sponsor satisfaction by partnering with operations to deliver high-quality, on-time, patient-first outcomes.
  • Act as the “voice of the sponsor” within Civia Health, ensuring sponsor expectations are communicated and met   3.
  • Forecasting & Analytics
  • Own the global sales forecast, CRM management, and pipeline analytics.
  • Track metrics across deal flow, conversion rates, and partner engagement to inform strategic decisions.
  • Present progress and insights to the CEO and executive leadership, connecting data to strategy and execution.
  • QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience
  • Science bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of commercial leadership in clinical research, or clinical research site networks.
  • Evidence backed success in strategic sales direct to Sponsors
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse, high-performance teams.

  • Large evidence backed Sponsor network, additional CRO valuable
  • Exceptional negotiation, storytelling, and executive-level communication skills.
