GENERALPURPOSE :

To be part of a vibrant team devoted todelivering exceptional care that promotes dignity and choice for all of ourresidents.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Assist residents with performanceof activities as indicated in service plans.
  • Assist residents with performance of simple treatments asindicated in service plans.
  • Assist residents with emotional health and / or problem behavioralissues as indicated in service plans.
  • Perform other services for residents as indicated in service plans(e.g., laundry and pet care).
  • Assist in development and revision of service plans by informingsupervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successfulservice approaches.
  • Observe for and report resident problems (as listed in Observationand Reporting sections of Personal Care Specialist Resource, or in-serviceplans) and report such problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Attendant.
  • Attend and participate in onboarding,annual and in-service training and team member meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, bothverbally and in writing.
  • Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
  • Maintain any certification as required by state or provincialregulations.
