Position Overview : We're currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Physical Education Teacher for the upcoming 24-25 school year in Minneapolis, MN.
This hourly contract position through Soliant Education offers an exciting opportunity to promote health and wellness in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement engaging physical education lessons that promote fitness and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Create a positive and inclusive gym environment that encourages participation and teamwork.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their physical development and skill acquisition.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to organize athletic events and promote physical activity outside the classroom.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching license / certification in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous experience teaching physical education, preferably at the elementary or middle school level, is advantageous.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
