Food Operations Manager

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager for Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. The Food Operations Manager will manage food operations including patient dining, retail food service and catering. The Food Operations Manager will be hands-on with the team, assist with financials, and will collaborate with other leaders of the department and hospital.

What You'll Do

• Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff
• Help oversee ordering, procurement, and inventories
• Ensure food and physical safety programs and standards are followed
• Assist with General Manager with strategic duties (financials, budgets, procurement, purchasing, etc.)
• Maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
