Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Night / Third Shift
Shifts : 10 : 30p-7 : 00a OR 6 : 30p-7 : 00a
Pay - $30-$35 / hr based on experience.
Our client is a premier healthcare facility dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive medical care to the community.
They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their night shift team. The LPN will work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician, providing basic medical care to patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Patient Care : Provide basic medical care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and monitoring patient conditions.
Assist with patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility as needed.Record patient information accurately in medical records.
Medical Procedures : Prepare and administer injections, change dressings, and insert catheters.Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care.
Collect samples for laboratory tests and perform routine laboratory tests as needed.
Support Services : Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medication usage.
Respond to patient calls and provide necessary assistance.Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions they may have.
Collaboration : Work closely with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and effective care.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors.
Compliance : Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA guidelines.Follow facility policies and procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment.
Keep up-to-date with continuing education and licensure requirements.
Qualifications :
- Valid LPN license in the state of Arkansas.
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
