- As part of Jacob's Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) Group the Maintenance Specialist will assume a leading role supporting maintenance and asset management efforts at all treatment facilities including industrial projects.
- This position is considered a hybrid role working from home, and traveling to project sites. You'll facilitate maintenance knowledge sharing between projects in the region and the company as a whole, related to technical support for mechanical, electrical, I&C and PdM support;
- Support optimization of treatment facilities maintenance within the region through benchmarking and key performance indicator analysis;
- Evaluate the projects' maintenance programs on an ongoing basis and provide input for possible improvements; Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, plans, specifications, and mechanical illustrations;
Perform skilled mechanical repair work on industrial water / wastewater treatment plant and related equipment; and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical machinery or equipment.
You'll also assist projects in set-up and training for predictive maintenance programs (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound, etc.
Conduct condition assessments on project vertical assets and document assessments in the ACES software program; Prepare, consult on, or review maintenance cost estimates and level of effort;
