Job Summary :
- This is a senior level position in application / system engineering.
- Responsibilities include defining analog IC and module products, developing and debugging reference circuits internally and with strategic customers, writing datasheets and application / design notes, and providing application support and technical training.
Essential Functions :
- Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define analog IC products in DC / DC converters, specifically in cloud computing power solutions for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and SOC.
- Define and design 48V DC / DC module products, including isolated and non-isolated topologies.
- Work with customer and field application team to provide total computing power solution.
- Develop application reference circuits and system level power management solutions for Server and Cloud.
- Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products.
Qualifications / Requirements :
- 8+ years of hand-on experience in switch mode power supply designs especially in multi-phase core power design or isolated topology.
- Self-motivated and can-do attitude.
- Previous work experience in a plus.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Prior experience in defining power management IC or power modules are highly preferred.

The base salary range for this position in California is $175,000 - $215,000.
