About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - PACU Job Specialty : RN - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a similar role License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)- Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, specifically EPIC.
Job Description : Provide care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, specializing in general, thoracic, plastic, vascular surgery, orthopedics, urology, and gynecology.
- Maintain a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 Patients.- Cater to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Support a facility with a bed count of 34 and manage a census of 30 to 40 patients daily.- Primarily work an evening shift with occasional day shifts, and there are no night shifts required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.- Maintain compliance with all health and safety guidelines.
