Seeking an energetic and skilled maintenance technician to support production facility (fabrication shop) in the Conroe, TX area.
- Anticipate $23-$28 per hour, BOE
- Full suite of benefits, 401K, PTO
- M-F, 5am-5pm
The Maintenance Technician is accountable for the repair and upkeep of machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
Key Skills :
- Performing alignments utilizing precision tools.
- Troubleshooting 24v -480v.
- Modify variables to parameters in FANUC system.
- Mechanical machine troubleshooting and repair.
Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot mechanical devices.
- Disassemble devices to access and fix faulty parts.
- Perform preventive maintenance and adjust machinery when needed.
- Replace or repair defective parts, install specialized functional and structural components, and clean and lubricate parts.
- Utilize welding equipment, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to create and repair parts.
- Address electrical equipment repairs.
- Adhere to OSHA and NAFA regulations, including lockout tag out and arc flash procedures.
- Ensure a safe work environment by following safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness.
Qualifications :
- High School diploma or general education (GED)
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as individually.
- Basic knowledge of good inspection techniques.
- Must have mechanical ability, an eye for abnormalities, and aptitude for detail.
