A large system in Nebraska / Iowa are looking for Night PCU RN's. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. 2 years of unit experience.
Job Requirements
- 2 years of unit experience.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
- RNs required to titrate drips.
- RNs must read and interpret tele / monitor strips.
Schedule Information
- 12 hour shifts.
- 36 hours guaranteed.
- Shifts & Scheduling : 0630-1830, 1830-0630.
- Every third weekend.
- Rotating holiday requirements.
Unit Specific Information
- A team player, flexible and adaptable, and have good communication skills are key traits for success on this unit.
- Different cultural populations are served on this unit- primarily Hispanic and Somalian.
- RNs required to do anything with RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) besides trouble shoot? High flow.
- Scrub Color / Dress code : Navy Blue.
- One week of unit / department specific orientation.
Additional Details
- WILL NOT APPROVE BLOCKED SCHEDULING OR SAME SCHEDULE / SHIFTS, MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND WILLING TO FLOAT AND WORK WHEN NEEDED.
