About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Transitional / Nurse Practitioner to join us in this engaging, stimulating, and fulfilling role, with dynamic practice incorporating the application of high-level knowledge and skills in extended practice across stable, unpredictable and complex situations.

As a Rural Generalist You Will Be Responsible For

• Manage a broad range of acute and chronic presentations and manage referrals to facilitate integrated care across disciplines or teams
• Practice autonomously initiating and managing the care and / or monitoring the ongoing therapy of patients with diseases or disorders within the scope of practice by providing effective pharmacological and other evidence-based interventions.
• Providing leadership in preventative health programs and patient education in various settings.
• Utilise the best available evidence to guide the treatment of patients in consultation with their general practitioners and specialist medical officers.
