Job Description

Summer Financial Analysts in the Financial Restructuring Group will work on a variety of transaction types, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed M&A engagements, both in- and out-of-court.

The group offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects that provide exposure to various financial advisory and investment banking products and industries.

These services include debt and equity financings, balance sheet restructurings, distressed M&A advisory services, and special situation principal investing.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s and / or Master’s Degree with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026
  • Coursework in accounting and finance or a demonstrated interest in such topics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • A fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
  • Strong analytical abilities and computer skills (Excel)
  • A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff

Salary Range

Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package.

The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is :

$105,000.00
