Job Description
The Salvation Army is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor / Manager in West Michigan. If you want to use your talents to make a difference in the world, we are missioned driven, diverse, collaborative, and focused on positive results in people.
Maintain order and safety on the dock and in the warehouse for all items being loaded, unloaded, transported, or processed.
Ensure that employees, beneficiaries, and volunteers are performing their duties safely and according to policies and procedures.
- Supervise operation of forklifts and any movable equipment as necessary, being sure operators observe all safety regulations.
- Supervise operation or weight scales and proper recording of weights.
- Cooperate with Store Supervisor and / or Director of Operations on selection of items for store delivery or As-is sales, ensuring the best possible distribution of materials for highest resale value.
