Overview We are seeking a full-time Corporate Recruiter in our Salem, OR location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing the highest level of staffing services to Garmin leaders, managers, supervisors and the HR team through development of cost effective, creative, and strategic sourcing avenues, assisting with the identification of and recruitment of professional and high-quality candidates while advancing Garmin’s brand name across numerous organizations, markets and the community, and assist with guiding managers through the selection process.

Essential Functions Research, plan and attend external recruitment events and conduct presentations to increase Garmin's presence and generate candidate interest Assist with and help create internal recruitment events within the ATS system Work closely with stakeholders to proactively understand needs for assigned positions including developing knowledge of new technologies and products that could influence future recruitment needs Conduct candidate searches using existing sourcing options (job boards, social media, networks, ATS) to connect with and develop candidate interest Apply knowledge of assigned positions to researching / proposing new recruitment strategies and programs to recruitment leadership (ex.

launching campaigns) Ensure data integrity by attaching accurate, complete and thorough documentation and tracking for each candidate in Garmin's ATS and knowledge sharing on best practices Mentor / provide training for less experienced team members Assist with creation of a strategic sourcing plan for assigned business segment(s) annually Partner with senior team member to review personal turnover report and assist in identifying methods for increasing retention through improved recruitment efforts Assist with small projects related to business recruiting and drive processes Assist with campus recruitment for engineering as needed Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business or related field AND a minimum of 3 years human resources experience OR Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business or a related field AND a minimum of 1 year human resources experience Must demonstrate a proven track record in effectively sourcing of active and passive candidates Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams Demonstrated ability to create and build relationships Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills including excellent presentation skills / public speaking experience Must be positive, detail / team oriented, a multi-tasker, and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and work proactively / effectively in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision and excellent time management / follow-up skills Must be flexible, including willing and able to travel up to 10% Must demonstrate a high level of customer service and interpersonal understanding Must possess strong discernment and have strong analytical skills Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Desired Qualifications Previous experience handling associate relations matters and dealing with confidential Human Resources matters HR certification Previous experience with sourcing, recruiting and hiring Demonstrated proficient HR system and database skills Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
