Apogee is seeking a Warehouse Specialist located at US Coast Guard (USCG) Base Portsmouth, VA in support of LOGCOM-44 Mission Essential Personnel Equipment (MEPE) Product Line (PL).

What you'll be doing :

• Verify materials against receiving documents
• Note and report discrepancies and damage
• Route materials to prescribed storage locations
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials IAW-prescribed storage methods
• Conduct inventories
• Replenish pick areas as needed
• Examine stored materials for deterioration and damage
• Process requests and supply orders
• Update inventory management system
• Operating various warehouse vehicles and equipment including but not limited to forklifts and hand tools
• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Manage reports, forms, and inventory electronically

What you'll need : Minimum Experience :

Minimum Experience :

Citizenship : Must be a US citizen

Clearance : Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance

Certifications : Forklift 5k

Education : High School Diploma

Years of experience : 4 years of experience in hands-on experience providing supply / warehouse support to DoD / DHS customers

Familiarity with verifying and receiving documents, and conducting inventory electronically

Experience storing, stacking, or palletizing materials using IAW-prescribed storage methods, operating forklifts and hand tools
