Job Title : Material Handler

Job Description

Order Picking :

• Pick orders at least 2 weeks prior to production start date.
• Diligently maintain ERP accuracy when transacting parts into work in process (WIP).
• Document scrap and material changes to maintain stock and manufacturing order accuracy.
• Ensure production has ample raw material to maintain on time builds.
• Material prep primarily consists of cutting fabrics and plastics to set dimensions but may include other tasks as required.

Lean Principles and Process Optimization :

• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Help identify and implement process improvements throughout the company.
• Take initiative to help co-workers when able. Attendance and Punctuality :
• Consistently be at work and arrive on time.
• Ensure work responsibilities are sufficiently handed off during absences.
• Be a dependable member of the team. Quality Focus :
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
• Continuously seek ways to improve and promote quality.
• Apply feedback constructively to enhance performance.
• Monitor your own work to ensure high quality. Safety and Security :
• Adhere to safety and security procedures.
• Ability to be on your feet through the workday and lift up to 50 lbs.

Hard Skills

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
• Inventory management and accuracy
• Pull material to fulfill orders properly
• Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards
• Receive and check incoming pick tickets
• Perform material prep to ensure adequate stock levels
• Package orders and place them on trucks for delivery
• Experience using a forklift and other equipment
• Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed
• Document orders, materials and any stock movements

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

This is a fully on-site position in Seattle, Washington.
