Job DetailsYork Hospital is currently seeking a Full-time, 36 hour per week, Sunday, Tuesday and Saturday, 12 hour shifts from 6 : 30 am to 7 : 00 pm.
No call is required.Must provide care appropriate to the condition and age of patients, including geriatric, pediatric and general population.
Staff is responsible for the care and safety of patients and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.Staff is responsible for communicating the mission and vision of the hospital as well as developing effective working relationships with patients, physicians and path members.

Performs procedures for MRI (using and building protocols)Screens patient for any contraindications pertaining to exam and to follow any necessary Safety requirements per ACR and facility protocolsInterviews patient to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures to address patient concerns and exhibits a high degree of tact, courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitorsEducates patient on procedures and answer any questionsEnsures patient and staff safety, including explaining safety protocol, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and alerting staff of danger or carrying metal around magnetMonitors patients at all times, visually and verballyOperates other equipment necessary for daily duties and patient careMaintains a clean and orderly environment for promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkersMaintains and reports on equipment statusHelps monitor inventoryPerform other related duties as necessaryEducation and Experience : Associates Degree or Certificate from Two-year college, University, or Certificate based program.
