Summary
The MIL Corporation is looking to hire a Director of Finance (Financial Analysis, Director). The Director of Finance will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health of the company.
This position will be responsible for leading the Project Control and Billing departments and will manage various financial functions including Financial Planning and Analysis, Mergers and Acquisitions analysis, Due Diligence, Purchase Accounting, Insurance Programs, Risk Management, Treasury Management, and Cash Flow Reporting.
This position currently requires a hybrid schedule, with days on-site as required. Schedule is subject to change based on company / contract requirements.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis :
- Develop and oversee the company’s annual budget and forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Support strategic planning initiatives with financial modeling and analysis.
Project Control and Billing :
- Supervise the Project Control team to ensure accurate project cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee the Billing department to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Implement and maintain effective controls and procedures to enhance financial accuracy and compliance.
Treasury Management :
- Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow and liquidity position.
- Prepare and present regular treasury reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of government contracting experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on financial planning and analysis, and treasury management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Costpoint 7
- 15 years of government contracting experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s Degree or CPA preferred)

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $175,000 - $195,000 per year.
