Sundance is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Retail Stock Lead to join our team for a part-time opportunity in Tigard, OR.

The Stock Lead partners with the store management team in driving store sales by persistent attention to detail in serving and selling goods to customers, while offering general support to the management team regarding visual merchandising, housekeeping, and store cleanliness.

The Stock Lead provides support to the Management team, Sales Associates, and customers by overseeing the flow of merchandise into and out of the store.
Also, the Stock Lead is a member of the management team and is seen as a leader in the store, holding keys and fulfilling essential management functions.
Essential Functions
- Ensure all merchandise is tagged correctly before placing on sales floor.
- Assist with unpacking product before, during, and after shipments arrive.
- Assist with housekeeping duties
- Performs opening and closing procedures and all essential management functions.
- Models exemplary customer service.
- Assist with daily restocking of the sales floor using the tools available.
- Expertise in the systems to manage inventory in and out.
- Assist with weekly cycle counts and adjustments.
- Seeks product knowledge on new and core goods and openly shares information and selling tips with fellow partners.
- Consistently exceed the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customer.
- Motivates and develops associates by providing consistent feedback, product training, sales and service techniques. Responsible for associate performance evaluations.
- Participates in weekly management meetings to discuss business sales trends, product assortment and inventory levels, new operating procedures and hiring needs.
- Participates in monthly staff meetings : current with sales trends and goals, new product information, enhanced selling techniques, seasonal promotions, and individual recognition.
- Assist sales associates with locating / retrieving items from stockroom.
- Assist on the sales floor as needed or directed by the manager of duty.
- Assist the Visual Merchandise Manager with placement of product and any special projects.
- Assist Management staff with inventory related projects.
- Ensures all visual, operational, and safety policies and procedures are followed and executed in a timely manner.
- Teaches and enforces loss prevention tactics on sales floor.
- Consistently enforces all company policies and procedures. Performs opening / closing procedures and ensures bank deposits are done daily.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associates degree in a related field required; BS or BA preferred
- Experience with a premium brand retailer
- Minimum of one year stock associate experience
- Experience in an environment where customer service is highly regarded
- Computer literacy including use of Microsoft suite, POS, Kiosk, and iPad functionality
- Willingness to do whatever is necessary to get the job done
- Driven by customer satisfaction, both internally and externally
- Must be able to lift and / or move items that weigh up to 50 pounds
