IV Therapy Nurse

• Employment Type : * Full time *Shift : * Night Shift *Description : * *Position Purpose : *At *Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center , *the IV Therapy Registered Nurse RN provides patient care by specializing in administering intravenous medicine, vitamins, or fluids.
• What you will do : You will insert and maintain peripheral IVs, midline catheters, and other types of lines, monitor patients’ vitals during treatments, and adjust medications as needed.
• Collaborates with colleagues, physicians, healthcare team members, and the patient and family to ensure safe, effective, and efficient care delivery*Minimum Qualifications* : * *Education* : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree preferred.* *Registered Nurse RN Licensure : *Valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure is required.

• Experience : *1 or more years of IV Placement experience is required.* *BLS or CPR certification : * Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross will be accepted.
• Position Highlights and Benefits : *Full-Time 32 hours / week - Night Shift.
