Position Overview :
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Soliant Health, you'll work within a dynamic educational setting, collaborating with educators and parents to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in school-aged children.
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting evaluations, providing therapy sessions, and documenting progress to ensure effective communication skills among students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and goals.
- Conduct therapy sessions and provide intervention services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' needs.
- Maintain accurate and updated documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student education plans.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
