Job Description
Total-Western, Inc. is seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our complex and high-impact projects.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of large-scale engineering and construction projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution :
- Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure alignment with client objectives and organizational goals from project inception through completion.
Leadership and Team Management :
- Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and provide coaching and feedback to ensure effective project execution.
Stakeholder Engagement :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships, manage expectations, provide regular updates, and address concerns or issues proactively.
Risk and Issue Management :
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage and resolve project-related issues to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
Financial Management :
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and cost-control measures are implemented.
- Monitor project expenses and forecast financial performance, reporting deviations and corrective actions.
Quality Assurance and Compliance :
- Ensure all project activities adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to enhance project delivery.
Documentation and Reporting :
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, financial records, and change orders.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders on project status and performance.
Continuous Improvement :
- Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement lessons learned to drive enhancements in future projects.
Required Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the engineering, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Project Management Skills : Advanced understanding of project management principles and practices. Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively convey information and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Leadership Abilities : Proven leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and guide teams to achieve project goals.
- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to make data-driven decisions and develop effective solutions.
- Knowledge : Extensive knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory standards in engineering and construction projects.
- Licensing : PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is required. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Industry Experience : Experience in the oil and gas, power generation, or manufacturing industries.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
- Process Improvement : Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Track Record : Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion.

Reporting Structure
The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the Operations Director and collaborate closely with project engineers, support staff, and external contractors to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
Compensation
Total-Western, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $160,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
