plugshare.com Position Summary : The position of PlugShare Director of EV Driver Analytics reports directly to the Vice President of Consumer Research and supervises a team of 3 Senior Research Analysts.
The Director of Analytics will use deep experience within the EV category to design, analyze and author EV category primary research projects from beginning to end.
This includes including assessing client needs, recommending a research strategy, interpreting results, and presenting final insights.
Beyond primary research, the Director of Electric Vehicle Driver Analytics will also provide consulting to clients on a wide range of EV category related topics, including EV infrastructure, the home charging arena, EV capabilities, and important category developments and their implications. Responsibilities :
- You will act as the main client liaison, assessing needs, custom-fitting the right research solutions, providing category thought leadership, and maintaining the highest quality standards for all our work.
- You will provide guidance and support to the team of Senior Research Analysts. Along with your team, you will present and interpret primary research and consulting projects in a way that adds great value beyond the facts and figures, looking beyond the obvious and finding the essential truths in the data that drive our clients’ businesses forward.
- You’ll maintain a razor-sharp, authoritative understanding of the EV category, including vehicle capabilities, the public infrastructure space, home charging equipment and behaviors, V2H, V2G, the managed charging landscape and more.
- This is a hands-on role. While you will oversee the day-to-day activities and project deadlines of the team, you will also be actively involved in research design, authoring questionnaires, analysis, and creating / delivering presentations, when needed.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive space (ideally with EVs), and at least 10 years working in a consumer insights role.
- At least 5 years’ experience with a SaaS-based online survey research panel, preferably using the Qualtrics platform.
- Ability to distill results of research projects quantitatively with the highest level of data integrity, using a wide variety of software tools including SPSS, Qualtrics, and Excel.
Excel skills need to be high level, including a solid working knowledge of pivot tables and advanced Excel techniques.
- Highly level of organization and the ability to track multiple projects at once.
- Clear, cogent writing skills, with fastidious proofreading and style consistency.
For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $150,000 USD to $165,000 USD.
Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
