Job Description :
Provides assistance to customers who wish to purchase parts at the parts counter or via telephone. Orders, receives and distributes equipment parts on behalf of customers.
Responsibilities :
- Complete purchase orders and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Utilize industry data including manuals and electronic data to determine specific parts needed by customers, as well as diagnostic assistance to customers
- Contact vendors to order parts
- Review invoices to ensure parts received accurately reflect parts ordered on original requisition forms
- Store parts in designated area and issue parts to service department / customers as needed
- Maintain records of parts received and distributed; inventory parts in warehouse periodically
Education / Experience / Skill :
- Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college / technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
