Salary Range : $17.50 - $25.50

About the Role :

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in patient care across all ages within an ambulatory setting. Your responsibilities will include :

• Collecting health status data from patients or caregivers and communicating this information to healthcare providers.
• Implementing the patient's care plan under the guidance of the provider.
• Communicating care instructions from the provider to the patient or caregiver.
• Participating in care for patients throughout their healthcare journey.
• Gathering vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, observing and reporting symptoms, and performing point of care testing.

Qualifications :

To qualify for this position, candidates must :

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within six months of employment. Re-certification is required as needed.
