Location Carlisle, PA

Shift- 3 : 00 PM -11 PM

Contract length- 13 weeks

Pay- $21 / hr

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Provide basic nursing care, such as changing bandages and dressing wounds
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff
• Support patients' nutritional needs, including feeding and meal assistance
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
• Document patient interactions and care provided
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure holistic care for patients
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients
• Follow proper infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards in healthcare
• Contribute to a positive and caring atmosphere for patients

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of state-approved CNA program
• Valid CNA certification and registration
• Ability to lift and move patients with proper body mechanics
• Strong understanding of patient care techniques and principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and compassion for patients in various states of health
• Physical stamina and endurance for demanding work environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient care
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Adherence to professional and ethical standards
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
• Willingness to pursue continuous education in the healthcare field
• Clear criminal background check and immunization records
