Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

We are seeking a full-time primary care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to work in our practice. The ideal candidate will have clinical primary care experience.
This is an 100% outpatient position with office hours from 8am to 5pm, M-F. The incoming candidate should be comfortable caring for a geriatric patient population.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Responsibilities
Responsible for the delivery of patient care in their area of specialty through the process of assessment; evaluation;
diagnosing; recognition and prevention of adverse events; planning; and implementation.
- Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice : clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development.
- Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe; effective and efficient patient care delivery; and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Continuously monitors quality patient care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
- Provides leadership in the practice location.
- Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) are required to function consistent with Florida Law
- Provides treatment for less urgent acute conditions as well as manages chronic conditions and provides care coordination.
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Requirements
- Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required
- Preferably 3 Years of experience working in a primary care setting
- State of Florida License Requirements
- Bilingual English / Spanish- Strongly preferred
- Managed Care, Medicare Advantage & HEDIS coding experience

Requirements
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans under the supervision of licensed physicians.
Perform routine and emergency medical procedures as necessary. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
