Machine Maintenance Technician
Trillium Staffing has a direct hire opportunity for Machine Maintenance Technicians!
Technicians will perform difficult and diverse complete mechanical assemblies of a variety of machines and equipment requiring accurate alignment, fitting and adjustment to close tolerance for a large number of inter-related parts.
Set-Up and trouble shoot problems at customer’s facilities.
Essential duties and responsibilities :
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Able to read manufacturing drawings.
- Work to prints of parts, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- Devise own sequence and method of assembly.
- Assemble machine from parts, material and fasteners supplied.
- Work with a variety of hand tools and power tools such as saber -saw, grinder, and magnetic-held drill.
- Lubricate and install bearings and grease fittings.
- Hand fit parts as necessary.
- Assure moving parts operate without binding or excessive looseness over full range of travel.
- Deburr sharp edges and blend sharp corners.
- Work with checkout personnel on final testing of machines.
- Maintain work area neat and orderly.

Qualifications :
- 5+ years experience assembling or repairing complex machinery to close tolerances.
- Experience with hydraulic equipment and ability to read hydraulic schematics.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem solver and ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
