Position - Senior Accountant ( General Ledger, Payroll, Auditing, Reporting)
Location - Remote ( Ideally, we prefer resources residing in the following states - MN, KS,WI,OH and FL)

Responsibilities Include :
General Ledger / Assist with month-end close process, which includes.
- Preparation of journal entries and accruals
- Reviewing and correcting expense GL coding
Audit and Statutory Support
- Support / Assistance for various Audit, Tax filings and payroll
- Assist Tietoevry group entities in USA / foreign entities in providing documents to group holding company
- Support and coordinate group / foreign entities in providing tax filings to group holding company
- Coordinate with external and internal tax compliance partners
Reporting and Account Analysis
- Assist with balance sheet and P&L flux analysis
- Assist in the preparation of month end financial package
- Other ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Responsible for month-end close accruals and reconciliations
- Prepare various reports on behalf of clients
Local Entity Payroll
Support HR team in Payroll process

- Legacy Entity : WellsFargo Banking Management
- Legacy Entity : WellsFargo Credit Card Management
- Checking the AP & AR Email Inboxes (Daily Task)
- Supplier / AP Invoices (Daily Task)
- Sending Invoices to Customers (Monthly Task)
- LRAs (Lead Referral Agreements) (Monthly Task)
- Commission calculations (Monthly Task)
- Accruals (IMP, Commissions, Supplier Invoices) (Monthly Task)
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years relevant accounting experience; public accounting or corporate accounting
- Working knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS preferred)
- Ability to work independently and on a team, meet deadlines, ability to thrive under minimal guidance
- Experience with automated accounting systems (Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and strong analytical skills
- An interest in or aptitude for identifying and resolving problems, suggesting improvements to various internal processes
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to establish credibility, make decisions and forge relationships
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of IFRS
