Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant OR Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a part-time to full-time temp-to-hire contract opportunity with Yoh’s corporate office client located in Madison, WI.
Schedule : Tuesday 8 : 15am-5 : 15pm, Wednesday 9 : 15am-5 : 15pm, and Thursday 8 : 15am-4 : 15pm. Can be flexible if needed.
If hired on long-term, shifts will change to approx. 32 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
Duration : four month contract with possibility of extension
Top Skills You Should Possess :
- Active / unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in state of Wisconsin OR Medical Assistant Diploma / Certificate
- Must be confident with blood draws
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Room patients and take vitals
- Assist providers with ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.
- Provide wellness materials / information
- Provide medical testing such as EKGs, pulmonary function, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.
- If needed, may assist with administrative tasks such as : filing, data entry, scanning, stocking rooms, etc.
What You Need to Bring to the Table :
- Prior experience using electronic medical records (EPIC)
- Flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- BLS certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted
- Phlebotomy skills
