The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for the daily upkeep and compliance of multiple Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care facilities.
Maintenance Technicians are required to manage and complete various tasks to ensure full functionality of all facility systems that support operations.
Maintenance Technicians must be self-motivated and willing to adapt to changing work conditions. Maintenance Technicians must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and able to work well with other team members, third party vendors, including contractors and inspectors.
Qualifications
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, Fire systems, HVAC, carpentry, among others.
- Willing and able to do daily upkeep including but not limited to drywall repair and painting.
- Ability to travel within the state and work at multiple locations.
- Must be able to work outside with no issue with heights.
- Willing to work some off hours when situations dictate.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs
- A current driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to keep records, schedule and comply with periodic maintenance requirements.
- Must be able to meet with contractors and facilities work being performed.
- High school diploma
- 1 year experience required
