???? Department : Meadowlark Retirement Village | Sparta, MI???? What You’ll Do in This Role :Care Partners bring energy and warmth to the Elders in the Meadowlark household! Their role includes helping with daily activities, keeping the environment safe and clean, preparing delicious meals, offering companionship, and handling meal service and cleanup. Your dedication will help create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment where residents feel valued, supported, and at home.
Primary Responsibilities :
Elder Care
Provide ADL (activities of daily living) supportPlan, lead, support, and participate in meaningful activitiesProvide exercises as assigned, according to service planAssist in moving, positioning, and transporting EldersAssist with the application of prosthetic and supportive devicesPrepare and serve breakfast and provide snacksQuality
Measure and record vital signsProperly and safely store medications received from the pharmacyDocument per organization policyCollaborate with team to discuss Elders’ needs, and progress in identifying / correcting problemsObserve, monitor and report to nurse any change in conditionAssure Elder calls for assistance are answered promptlyHousekeeping
Keep all areas of the home clean, performing routine housekeeping dutiesMake beds and change bed linensLaunder clothing, linen, and other articlesClean up after lunch and dinner time meals.✅ What You’ll Need :
High school diploma requiredMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferredCPR certification preferredMust be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 35 lbs.The above is a summary of the position, it in no way states or implies that these are the only duties this position will be required to perform.
