Join us! Team Overview : Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) are sub-lines of business within Global Risk Management (GRM).

Collectively, they are responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America.

GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities it builds address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks.

In executing its activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation.The Infrastructure & Application Management (IAM) team within EIT is responsible for managing the organization’s platform infrastructure.

The team defines and executes the technology roadmap in alignment with the target state vision, addresses critical technology pain points, establishes remediation plans, and oversees the end-to-end infrastructure testing framework.

Role Overview : The Python Product Owner is accountable for overseeing the technical build out of the Python based automation platform for EIT and serve as bridge between business stakeholders and Technology teams to help translate and prioritize business requirements into Technology deliverables.

This also includes assessment of the return on investment and business value that each requirement provides, ensuring prioritization is driven by business value and validating that technology delivery addresses requirements.

As part of the role, the Python Product Owner will gather and document business requirements / design and assess requirements for applications, collaborate across the Product Owner community to ensure changes are coordinated appropriately upstream and downstream.

This role also entails applying technical and business knowledge to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems with participation in design, development, and implementation of enhancements to our Python based technologies and integration with upstream and downstream applications and processes.

We are seeking candidates with strong subject matter expertise in Python based development, application design and delivery management of business requirements, who maintains strong customer relationships with key partners and has a proven track record of seamlessly leading and executing enterprise-wide initiatives.

The role requires strategic and critical thinking and willingness to dig into details of technology features available in existing applications and new technology enhancement required to build fit for purpose solutions.

The candidate must be a strong communicator and able to effectively explain the rationale and details of the methodologies to a broad set of audiences including senior technology and business stakeholders.

Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degrees or above in fields including but not limited to : Business Administration, Finance, IT, Process, Operations Research.

5 + years of relevant work experience (3+ if holds a PHD Degree). Required Skills Ability to build relationships and effectively influence key stakeholders.

Adept at detecting and remediating organizational and process weaknesses and deficiencies.Strategic thinker that can understand complex business challenges and potential solutions.

Feels ownership and accountability for delivering high quality work.Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex message in an easy-to-understand language.Well organized with attention to detail.

Willing to challenge the status quo and with a track record of driving change.Plans & manages work, escalates and remediates related risks to achieve project goals on time, within given resources and budget.

Ideally technical background involving software development.Experience implementing process improvements and automation. Desired Skills and Experience Strong object-oriented and functional programming skills using Python and SQL and possibly other languages.

Experience in Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, Jenkins, SQL.Experience with Software Development Lifecycle.Experience building automation tooling that is optimized for large dataset retrieval, analysis, storage, cleansing, and transformation.

Experience automating processes using Python working with various types of data including structured data in relational databases and Hadoop as well as various types of unstructured / semi-structured data.

Experience automating testing of code for unit, integration, regression and performance testing.Experience building container-based platforms.

Experience managing large data sets utilizing tools such as Hadoop or Trino.Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

The Test Tools & Automation Manager is a member of the Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) organization and, under the direction of a Test Tools & Automation Executive is responsible for driving & managing the planning and execution of an EIT Platform in support of the Independent Testing Standards.

This role engages with peers to recommend Testing Tools and Technology strategy, including cost / benefit analysis of refining / updating existing technologies or adopting new technologies, in alignment with company technology strategy.

The Test Tools and Automation Manager is responsible for ensuring consistent quality of activities, processes and outputs by establishing effective review practices across teams.

This role may contribute as a manager responsible for providing leadership direction to attract, assess, develop, motivate and retain a small team, or may act as an individual contributor.

Key responsibilities :

A Test Tools & Automation manager must have a good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record of driving digital innovation and business metrics with a customer-first mindset.

May also require strong technical capabilities in a particular application or field of study.

Key responsibilities include the ability to lead and drive projects forward, strategic planning, forecasting budget and resources, demonstrating executive presence and leadership skills, and influencing / leading diverse groups to achieve desired results.
