Responsibilities :
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Provide direct patient care and help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
- Conduct assessments and document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with the occupational therapist to develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications :
Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a valid licenseAcute care experience is preferred but not requiredStrong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminologyFamiliarity with occupational health practices and proceduresExperience working with pediatric patients is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSkills :
