Job Title : Warehouseman
Job Description
- The Warehouse worker is responsible for the movement of material to and from stock locations, unloading purchased material, and performing cycle counts when required.
- Will be receiving shipments, verifying inventory and items and processing documentation.
- Will be required to operate a forklift, previous forklift operating experience is required (sit down or stand up forklift)
- The position will eventually be moving into the distribution center in 2025, parts delivery to the manufacturing facility and would be driving a box truck to deliver items.
- Ensure that correct quantity and correct material are issued
- Verify inventory counts through weekly cycle counts
- Check incoming material in the computer system and store in designated areas
- Separate non-conforming material to prevent accidental use.
- Raise visibility of processes contributing to errors
- Maintain warehouse equipment (Forklifts, storage racks, PC’s, pallet jacks) per guidelines
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word)
Shift :
- 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm
- Monday - Friday
Location & Additional Information :
- Position is starting off working in the Virginia beach location!
- Candidates must be willing to work at either location as they will all eventually be under the new Chesapeake Distribution Center in May 2025!
- This candidate must understand that once hired on, they will be required to do a DOT and MVR check for Box Truck driving (no driving until hired on permanently)
- MUST have a valid Driver's License to qualify for the position.
