Salary : THE OPPORTUNITY

THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, the Finance Manager is responsible for handling all the daily accounting and finance responsibilities. This position requires the ability to work independently and autonomously on a wide range of financial duties including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyses;

development and implementation of internal policies and procedures; and production of accurate and timely financial reports and statements.

S / he will develop and roll out standardized KPI reporting throughout the organization.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Hands-on support and ownership for the monthly Accounting close process through analysis and accrual preparation.
  • Own the development and rollout of standardized KPI reporting.
  • Leverage existing financial modeling skills to streamline and enhance the company’s Financial Model and various support models.
  • Innovate our planning processes and tools, reporting standards, and KPI's.
  • Become a subject matter expert in our budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions.
  • Partner with team members to plan Revenue across all products and channels.
  • Own long-term COGS forecasting, working closely with leadership.
  • Own and manage the operating expense planning process for departments, including the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts.
  • Manage and develop financial and operational modeling relevant to supported departments.
  • Produce high level materials for Board of Directors, investor presentations, and other external reporting packages.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen while supporting ad-hoc projects based on the needs of the business.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in healthcare technology in an analytical role within a fast-paced environment with high standards for excellence.

Preferably for a SaaS healthcare technology company.

  • Experience with accounting and budgeting software solutions like QuickBooks, strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Journal Entry.
  • Experience in driving and owning the annual audit process and or public accounting audit background.
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
  • Experience in high growth environments with ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Advanced excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Advanced experience with Healthcare Technology KPIs.
