Job Summary :

This position is responsible for performing audits of licensed dealer sales records to ensure compliance with applicable statutes, rules and procedures by inspecting, reviewing and analyzing sales contracts, invoices, receipts, settlement statements, deposits receipts, lender documents, ledgers, client journals, financial records of trust and escrow accounts, and to determine evidence of consummation.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, in Arizona, to include in-office hoteling, based on the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties :

Job duties will include the auditing of dealer sales records following established policies and procedures, monthly summary reports, composition of audit reports to document audit findings, including any violations found.

Violation documentation will include authoring administrative actions if audit violations warrant such action. May require testimony in an administrative hearing and will be responsible to assist in the preparation for the administrative hearings.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, in Arizona, to include in-office hoteling, based on the department’s business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) :

Valid Arizona driver's license and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting, auditing and investigative principles.

Retirement :

State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS), the State sponsored retirement contribution plan and the Long-Term Disability (LTD) program.

New ASRS members will have a 27-week waiting period for membership. The ASRS defined benefit plan provides for life-long income upon retirement.
