About The Position
Job Title : Lead Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty : Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Job Duration : Full-Time Shift : 12 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : State licensure reimbursement after 90 days of employment, valid driver's license in good standing Certifications : ARRT Certification Must-Have : Vaccination against COVID-19 or approved exemption documentation Job Description : Responsible for the daily operations of technologists in their respective areas.
- Assist the Area Operations Manager in meeting productivity standards and ensuring policy procedures are followed.- Perform and process X-rays, transmitting them for interpretation.
- Operate portable X-ray equipment at patient bedsides for physician-ordered exams.- Obtain clinically diagnostic EKGs and transmit them for interpretation.
- Complete and deliver paperwork related to exams and patient billing; retrieve face sheets and deliver as directed.- Enter patient demographics into the computer workstation and scan films for transmission to the reading center.
- Deliver films to facilities or doctor's offices when requested.- Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment.- Accurately record hours worked and provide to manager promptly.
- Coordinate with Area Manager to ensure proper scheduling of technologists for optimal customer service levels.- Conduct quarterly image reviews on fifteen or more images, providing graded feedback with improvement suggestions.
- Cross-train technical staff in all applicable modalities.- Conduct spot checks on equipment and cars, ensuring cars are clean and well-maintained.
- Perform monthly upkeep checks on DR / CR equipment, such as cords, attachments, DR plates, pre-inspection checklists, and QC programs.
- Provide on-call assistance for team backup if needed.- Report any client concerns or information directly to the Area Operations Manager.
- Offer additional support to the Area Operations Manager as needed.
