Hours :

• Evening; 8-hour shift
• 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm
• M-F; Rotating weekends and holidays among team
• Location : Maywood, IL

About the Role

In this role, the CT Technologist performs computerized tomography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.

Performs technical procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for computerized tomographic diagnosis.

Here's what you'll need

Minimum Required :

• Associate's degree - In a Radiological Technology approved A.M.A. program. OR equivalent training acquired via work experience
• Specific Degree(s) : Radiologic Technology
• Understanding of human anatomy and pathology
• Ability to distinguish between types of medical procedures and diagnoses
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of medical and scientific terminology

Licensure / Certifications

Required :

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program
• ARRT (RT) licensure
• ARRT (CT) licensure
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from American Heart Association only
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA)
• Other : New Graduates - ARRT (CT) certification must be earned within three months of hire. OR if in a Cross training - 18 months to become ARRT (CT) certified.
