Southeast Behavioral Hospital :

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY :

The LVN / LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing.

Experience : Minimum one (1) year as a LPN / LVN / LPT in psychiatric nursing preferred, with six (6) months experience in behavioral health

Licensure : Licensed to practice vocational / practical nursing from the State Board of Nursing

Additional Requirements : CPR certification and successful completion of HWC including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting with restraining procedures.
