The Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse, RN) plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong supervisory / leadership experience, preferably as a Director of Nursing in long term care or skilled nursing.

DIRECTOR OF NURSING (RN) QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must have a Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida
- Must have a valid CPR license and must maintain it
- Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred
- Minimum of 2 years nursing supervisory experience required
- Previous Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing a plus
- Must have strong leadership skills and be able to lead a team of nursing staff, as well as help foster a team atmosphere with the nursing division
