Role and Responsibilities

What you'll be doing :

  • This person will drive Samsung eCommerce initiatives related to :
  • Omni channel initiatives like BOPIS, BORIS, Dropship, Reverse dropship etc.
  • Order management, fulfillment, and logistics (forward and return).
  • Innovate and automate in the above areas to improve customer satisfaction, contribute to revenue increase, and reduction in operational costs.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders in designing product solutions, finalizing estimates, budgets, and plans / prioritizing in upcoming roadmap, resolving issues during build and test, and launching products in a timely fashion.
  • Write product specifications and work with UX designers to build the mocks.
  • Work with Architects to simplify product features for technical design solutions.
  • Prioritize and allocate work based on the roadmap and backlog.
  • Finalize plans, estimates, and schedules working with engineering and QA teams.
  • Work with development and quality assurance engineers to build and ship the features.
  • Collaborate with external partners and internal account teams on new product launches.
  • Communicate and resolve issues, risks, and progress to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into the product development process.
  • Internalize and deeply understand Samsung’s mission and strategies, as well as the mission and objectives of the eCommerce team.
  • Distill vision and strategy for the team, and get all members of the cross-functional team excited.
  • Be data-centric to make informed product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, customer behavior, or other business metrics.

Solicit and embrace critical feedback.

  • Drive innovation, definition, deliverables planning (roadmap), and design of entirely new products and features to deliver against team and company goals.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals.
  • Drive the definition of and execution against the product go-to-market plan, including phasing and training.
  • Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
  • Have strong technical skills and be proficient in Confluence, JIRA, and Smartsheet.

Background & Competencies Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required; computer science undergraduate degree or relevant engineering degree plus hands-on software engineering experience strongly preferred.
  • Technical understanding must go from the highest abstractions down to the metal.
  • 10+ years of experience delivering highly successful and innovative consumer Internet products with your fingerprints all over them which you’re extremely proud of what you’ve accomplished.
  • Having prior experience in the consumer electronics eCommerce space is a huge plus, especially in inventory management, fulfillment, and logistics.
  • Stellar design instincts and product taste.

Skills and Qualifications

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $213,000 and $245,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
