Job Responsibilities

• Providing top-quality RN nursing care in a post-acute setting, consistent with legal requirements, facility policies, and resident care plans
• Working in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team, residents, and family members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administering medications, treatments, and other interventions to residents and documenting responses
• Drawing fluids as needed for lab work
• Prioritizing patient safety and promoting evidence-based best practices related to infection control and fall risk, among other areas
• Communicating with residents and family members, answering their questions and educating them on conditions, treatments, and healthcare options
• Ensuring complete and accurate documentation in medical records
• Assisting with the training and supervision of the wider nursing team
• Fostering a safe and inclusive work environment
• Additional duties and responsibilities assigned by leadership team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Current Ohio RN license
• Degree from an accredited registered nurse school (BSN preferred)
• Demonstrated work experience as an RN
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multi-task in a healthcare environment
