Position Summary
The Knight Campus is seeking qualified applicants for its open ProTem Instructor / Lecturer pool. Knight Campus Instructors / Lecturers develop innovative and multidisciplinary educational materials with the goal of preparing graduate students for entry-level positions in academic, industry, and government labs.
If you enjoy teaching students topics that encompass both the life sciences and materials sciences, we encourage you to apply! Successful Instructors / Lecturers will mentor students on research projects that span a breadth of topics and need to stay current on innovative discoveries and methods.
Positions are limited-duration appointments potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. In limited circumstances, there is the possibility of renewal beyond three years based on programmatic need, funding, and performance.
Minimum Requirements
Instructor :
- Master's degree in a relevant science field.
- Three years of experience in research / innovation capacity.
- Experience teaching and developing curriculum.
Lecturer :
- Terminal degree in a relevant science field.
- Three years of experience in research / innovation capacity.
