Prepares and administers oxygen therapy utilizing nasal cannulas, masks, venturi marks, non-rebreathers, simple oxygen masks and oxygen hoods, heated high flow nasal cannulas.
If nursery trained) Prepares and administers aerosol modalities using bland aerosols, Ezpap, and small volume nebulizers.
Performs and teaches Incentive Spirometry. Interprets and reports vital signs and pulse oximetry as indicated. Performs postural drainage and percussion.
Performs ventilator monitoring checks and changes ventilator circuits. Osculates and identifies various breath sounds. Performs allens test and arterial blood gases.
Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired regarding personal, financial, medical or employment of patients, families, and employees of Hillcrest South.
Qualifications Job Requirements : Associates degree in respiratory therapy. Oklahoma RCP license and NBRC registry for CRT or RRT
