General Duties
The Sonographer is responsible for performing Obstetrical, Pelvic and Transvaginal, and Breast Ultrasound examinations of NEON patients.
The Sonographer is also responsible for all duties related to the performance of ultrasound procedures with the scope of NEON practice.
Education
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- One year training in an approved ultrasound program.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current registration with the American Registration for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registration (OB / GYN) and Breast (BR).
- Two years' experience in obstetrical and breast ultrasonography preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in knowledge and use of computerized ultrasound equipment;
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook;
- Ability to become proficient in the use of NextGen software.
