Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Opening in Michigan
Soliant Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a remote position with a school district in Michigan.
This full-time role, running from August 22, 2024, to June 13, 2025, involves providing virtual speech and language therapy services to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver virtual speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student goals and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student development
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Michigan state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and technological skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively
