PositionPurpose :

Food and food service delivery / shuttleDrivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain.Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers’ productsarrive at their destination at the arranged times and in goodcondition, but they are the face of our company building lastingrelationships with our customers!

As a Delivery / ShuttleDriver, you will play a vital role in the operation of our businessby transporting empty trailers to the Operating Company warehouselocations and turn around and deliver full trailers todomicile / shuttle yard locations.

The Delivery / Shuttle Driverdrives a tandem trailer, tractor trailer and / or straight truck onintrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of transportingempty trailers to the Operating Company warehouselocations.

Turns around and delivers full trailers withvarious products to domicile / shuttle yard locations in a safe andtimely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation(DOT) regulations.

Communicates and interacts with customers,vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions areanswered accurately and in a timely manner.

Functions as a teammember within the department and organization, as required, andperform any duty assigned to best serve thecompany.

The ideal candidate shouldpossess :

• Flexible to do bothshuttle & delivery routes whenneeded

Responsibilities :

Performs all required safety checks(i.e., pre / post trip) including inspections of tractor / truck andtrailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT)regulations;

inspects tractor / truck and trailer to insure they meetcompany safety standards and take appropriate action asneeded.

• Reports all safety issues and / orrepairs required.
• Follows all DOT regulationsand company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediatelyreports all safety hazards. Inspects trailer for properly loadedand secured freight.
• Ensures all required routepaperwork is with tractor trailer load and available to driver upondispatch.
• Drives and delivers trailersaccording to predetermined routeschedule.
• Performs hook / unhook procedures persafety guidelines.
• Parks and stores tractortrailers in designated areas.
• Ensures allequipment and freight are appropriately locked and / or alwayssecured.
• Collects and secures damaged goods andcustomer returns in empty trailer to bring back to driver check-inat base facility and complete necessarypaperwork.
• Unloads all equipment, materials andremove trash from trailers asrequired.
• Completes daily record of hours ofservice and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, andcompany requirements.
• Performs generalhousekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailersclear and clean as required.
• Performs otherrelated duties asassigned.

Qualification :

6+months Class A delivery experience

Valid Class A / CDLLicense

Must be at least 21 years of age

Meet allState licensing and / or certification requirements

CleanMotor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years

PassPre-Employment Drug & Background Check

Pass RoadTest

Valid DOT Medical Card and / or able to secureone

For Delivery drivers : able to hand-lift and utilizetwo-wheeler, lift gate and / or other equipment to move and / or stackproduct cases / freight of varying size and weight throughout shift;

product generally ranges from approximately 60 to 90 pounds,depending on the location
