Job Description : - Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence-based practice to provide individualized patient care.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics and adapt service delivery to reflect cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate communication methods, including bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, promoting respectful and inclusive clinical environments.
- Engage in teamwork and collaboration while promoting recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.- Participate in performance improvement activities and support shared governance within the organization.
- Complete all professional competency assessments and mandatory education.- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for professional nurses and staff, modeling professional nursing practice.
- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing.- Uphold organizational policies and clinical competencies while complying with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
- Participate in data collection and consult with experts to address practice questions.- Proactively plan patient care across the care continuum and develop protocols in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Support efficient use of human and material resources. Note : Position available in October.
