Ground / Water Treatment & Technology, LLC (GWTT) is a leading environmental contractor with headquarters located in Wharton, NJ.
GWTT provides Construction Dewatering, remediation and environmental construction services, including; dewatering systems design, manufacture, installation and operation.
GWTT performs jobs nationally with a high concentration of work on the East Coast. GWTT provides a challenging, growth-oriented work environment, in which the right candidate will have the opportunity to develop with the company.
Due to our growing business, we have an immediate need for a Assistant Project Manager in our Construction Field Services division.
An Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager Assistant, works alongside the Project Manager to plan and execute projects for a company.
Their duties include identifying clients’ or stakeholders’ project needs and goals, creating a detailed plan to successfully complete a project and organizing and storing project reports and documents.
Day to day responsibilities Include :
Assistance with project RFP reviews and proposal submission.
- Preparation of project status reports.
- Preparation of draft invoices.
- Assistance with sourcing subcontractors / vendors.
- Preparation of subcontracts / purchase orders.
- Assistance with development of project schedules.
- Oversight to ensure work adheres to contract specifications.
- Creation and execution of project work plans.
- Management of project costs, in coordination with Project Accounting staff.
- Providing support to the Project Manager and Team with other duties, as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science / Studies / Engineering or Business preferred, but not required.
- 5 years of experience required.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER.
- Familiarity and adherence to environmental and safety compliance regulations.
- Strong communicator, both oral and written.
- Above average computer, reading, mathematical, and scientific skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, direct, train, and assign duties to subordinates.
- Willingness to travel, as needed.
